Are you ready to become a leader? Wayne County College Access Network (WCCAN) is thrilled to roll out the WCCAN High School Student Ambassador Program.
What is an Ambassador?
If you love to set goals, like to help your classmates, and meet new ones, enjoy working closely with your career counselors/teachers/youth leaders, all while developing leadership skills, and earning money— being an Ambassador may be for you. Our WCCAN High School Ambassador will assist with FAFSA completion goals (this will be customized by school), work closely with career advisors, youth leaders and teachers, work with WCCAN leadership, and engage in career exploration activities. They will also become a member of the WCCAN High School Ambassador Board where they will be able to collaborate with WCCAN High School Student Ambassadors from other districts to share ideas and gain camaraderie.
How to Apply
WCCAN is looking for Juniors and/or Seniors in high school who live or go to school in Wayne County (outside of the Detroit city limits). Interested? Fill out our WCCAN High School Ambassador Interest Form or share this information with your supporter, career counselor, teacher, or youth leader and have them contact us today.
