Our Values

Personhood

We show respect for people, not for anything they do or any rank they hold, but because they have a space within our community. People have varying strengths, choices, and lives. These differences make people unique and should be highlighted and respected. Individuals should be able to make decisions about their paths and have human / civil rights, which must be protected.

Community

People are part of and contribute to the fabric of society. Everyone benefits when people are present and participate. Individuals have differing support needs, with community comes supporting others in order to achieve their full potential.

Equity & Diversity
Society must remove barriers and correct injustices that limit opportunities for people. Extra action is needed to help people and their families, who face forms of bias or discrimination. Human diversity is beautiful and powerful. We celebrate, honor, and seek to understand the differences in our identities and life experiences.
